I don't have one of the insurances listed. How much does a video consultation cost? How much is a sleep study?

The cost of a video consultation without insurance typically ranges between $300-700.

An at-home sleep study is $400. ​

How much does a CPAP machine cost? Is it covered by insurance?
Most insurance plans cover approximately 50-80% of the cost of a CPAP or APAP machine. After consulting with your insurance, your supply company can provide exact costs. Some patients pay as low as $16 per month for 13 months under a rent-to-own plan. After completing the payments and meeting compliance requirements, you will own the machine.

If you have a high deductible plan you may need to meet your annual deductible prior to your insurance paying for your machine.

I already have a CPAP machine but need supplies. Do I need to see the doctor?
Yes, a doctor’s prescription is required for CPAP supplies. If you prefer not to visit the doctor, supplies can be purchased out-of-pocket at local drugstores, with a local supply company, or with an online CPAP supply company.
What is a DME supply company? Why do you need my CPAP information?
DME stands for Durable Medical Equipment. Your DME supply company is where you receive your CPAP machine and supplies. Sharing your CPAP information with us helps Dr. Cacho and Dr. Wong access relevant data, as newer CPAP machines allow for online data monitoring.

I need help with a disability form for obstructive sleep apnea. Can the doctors complete this form?

Please be aware that our office does not fill out or complete disability forms for sleep apnea. We are, however, able to provide documentation confirming your diagnosis of sleep apnea. This documentation can be used to support any claims or applications you may need to make.

If you require a detailed diagnosis report, please let us know, and we will be happy to provide it after you are established with our providers. For assistance with disability forms or other specific paperwork, we recommend contacting your primary care provider who can assist further.
I have a commercial drivers license and need my clearance form signed. Can the doctors sign this form?

We can assist with documentation related to your Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

To facilitate this process, please provide us with the appropriate forms and any relevant records that we will need to complete the documentation. Once we have received these materials, we will prepare the necessary documentation to support your CDL requirements.
I am out of my medication and need a refill. Please tell the doctor ASAP.

To ensure a smooth and timely process for medication and supply refills, we recommend that requests be made at least one week in advance. Please note that it takes time for orders to be processed, and we ask that you confirm you were last seen by the doctor within the last six months. Additionally, if your refill is for a controlled substance, prior authorization may be required, which can further extend the timeframe for receiving your medication. Planning ahead will help avoid any delays in your treatment. Thank you for your understanding!
I live in Hawaii and need a controlled substance medication prescribed.

Regulation has been implemented in Hawaii which requires that prescribers of controlled substances must be physically located within the state. This regulation is outlined in Hawaii State Law HRS 329-38 and HRS 329-41, which mandates that physicians providing prescriptions for controlled substances must practice and be located within the state boundaries.

Due to this regulatory change, our providers are unable to to prescribe controlled substances for patients residing in Hawaii as they are physically in California. Patients are to reach out to their primary care provider for prescriptions for controlled substances.
